i'm looking for some 5-spoke lugnuts... the black ones that came off of the firebirds with the 16 inch 5-spokes. need all 20 of them. anyone have them locally?

 

I have the lugnuts that you use scre in covers for. They were for my stock steel rims and the hubcaps had covers that screwed on to them.

think they might work? I just do not have the covers.

 

You do realize that those are black plastic caps that screw on over stock cad plated lugnuts. The lugnuts must have the outer screw threads for the plastic caps. So you need 20 lugnuts (with outer threads for plastic caps) as well as 20 black plastic caps.

If you already have the lug nuts, Ecklers Corvette in Titusville carries the black plastic covers for $29.99 for a set of 20. Part number is 38174. Ecklers phone # 800 327-4868.

To get over there ... take Hwy 50 all the way over to Titusville until it deadends at the water. Turn right at that intersection and Ecklers is about 3/4 mile down on the right hand side.

You might try the tire stores for the lug nuts.

Yep .... those are the items in question. Notice the SLP package also includes the lugnuts with the plastic caps for half the price of Ecklers. That's why I hate to buy Corvette parts. When I need parts for my engine on the Vette I buy them for my T/A from the Pontiac dealer.

Like said I have the screw type lugnuts, and do not really need them since i plan to keep salad shooters.

distric manager approved overtime since "Finding Nemo" went pyschotic this weekend, so I am working about 52 hours this week. Also have a corporate visit soon so gotta bust my a$$ fixing all the broken stuff.

i think i'll probably end up selling 2 of my current salad shooters... i can give ya the rubber from the current 5 spokes for free, but its for basically burnout purposes only, the rubber is trash. one tire has chunks missing just like yours lol

but i'm keeping 2 salad shooters, next minor mod will be drag radials. you can't fit slicks on a salad shooter can ya?

still need those special lugnuts and caps though... thinking about just ordering them via slponline and get them all in a package.
