Michigan State trooper.
I went to court today for an improper lane usage ticket. The trooper said that I crossed the gore (the triangle outlined in white paint when coming down a ramp onto the x-way). He was in front of me and thought he saw me do this in his rear view, so 3 miles down the road, after he slowed so that I would pass him, he pulls me over and writes me a ticket.
Well in court today he sits and looks the magistrate right in the eye and says that he was behind me all the time and that he had a perfect view of me crossing the gore. Let me say it again. DIRTY ROTTEN LYING B@STARD STATE TROOPER. He was way in front of me.
I'm so pissed!!! The magistrate would have thrown the ticket out if the @sshole state trooper hadn't lied. And the magistrate believed every word out of his slimy mouth. So much for the integrity of the people who are supposed to uphold the laws of this state.
When I got up to leave I pointed my finger right at the state trooper and told him that he was a liar. He said that that was my opinion. And I said, no, that it was a fact. I doubt that it did any good because if he had a concience he wouldn't have lied in the first place. Then the magistrate told me to leave.
I'd like to say that I feel better after ranting on but I don't. I still feel such utter disappiontment that the system can be so abused.

Sorry about that, Al. It was a rotten thing for him to do. Someday he'll get his, just keep that in mind. You probably won't be there to see it, but he'll get his.

Besides, he was probably just insanely jealous of your car.

Yeah what the hell is that about? HE may have been a transvestite in women mode...What self respecting MAN would do that to a typical car guy drivin' along a highway?! It's all about being in the wrong f-ing place a the wrong time. **** like that just makes you want to never drive. Kinda like just walking down the street and getting shot by someone for no damn reason or explanation.

Was John Hibberd the guy who caries a micro-recorder with him for when he gets pulled over?? Seems like like a good idea at times. later Al

28 years ago I was shot in the back by 2 cops. They got in court and said I was attacking them. When they were asked how the bullet hit me in the back they said I turned around when they shot. Now a bullet travels at so many hundred feet per second and me being so fast if I was able to turn all the way around. Why didn't I just step aside me being so fast. Keep in mind we were about 10 feet apart. They were not in uniform. About 28 people showed up in court and said they shot me for no reason. I was the wrong guy and did not know they were cops. The two of them and one cops preist spoke for them and they got off. Now 28 people lied and they told the truth. I only knew about five of the 28 people. I was a young kid at the time and belived as long as you told the truth it would work out. Boy did I get a rude awaking. It would have been great if someone would have had a camera. No that only works if ...

That's just plain wrong. I hate it when cops like that lie, gives the good cops a bad name. It would've been interesting if you were able to get a copy of his cruiser's video camera tape for that day (time?).

what was his name??? I had a state trooper pull me over (kinda I was allready parked in a mcdonalds parking lot) and then come up to me... and write me a ticket for where my license plate was mounted... and then told me if I didn't put a shirt on that he'd write me another ticket.. and later that day he eneded up impounding a buddies bike... I dont say all cops are bad... but 9 out of 10 are... especially the young ones on ego trips...

Although I should not be suprised somehow I am. I guess I give state troopers more credit and respect knowing how much more difficult it is to make it to their level as opposed to a city cop. It sucks Al.

And whats worse is the judge always goes with the cop in the case of a discrepency in the two stories. And besides the in car police camera there is no way to prove it. I find it interesting how a cop can remember each individual car and person they pull over and all the details about the situation while writing hundreads of tickets a month. And yet the person who gets one ticket somehow forgets all of the circumstances for his ONE ticket. Whats a more rememberable experiece the cop who does the job all day or the driver who gets pulled over?
