Double Clutching????
What does double clutching mean? I keep hearing about it but I have no idea what it means. Thanks

Push clutch in to release gear from one gear release clutch press again and then engage gear
ie
1st gear
press clutch move to neutral
release clutch
press clutch and move to 2nd

I think that has alot more to do with turbo cars. If i am not mistaken.

Its actually pressing the clutch in while in gear to match the revs of your next downshift to lessen the load on the syncros...thats the Heel-toe, auto x version...the street racing version is to while in gear press the clutch on briefly while on the gas to get your RPM's into your powerband quicker...IE in my no bottem end stock LS-1 i need to get to 4,000 rpms quicker when running lt-1's with more bottem end so if I will do this in 1st if I have traction (mainly on w/ drag radials) or in 2cnd do it and the car will shoot of like a freakin rocket like I hit 3rd gear or something. in other words though While Full Throttle press the clutch in for a split second...Yes, TF&TF guys are idiots,
