COAN.
Steve Schmidt uses them.
I had my motor dynoed there and Coan used my dyno sheets to get me the perfect one.

Neal Chance Bolt-Together. I can change the stall myself for when I go NHRA S/ST racing (5500), and then change it back for some Headsup Spray action (4500). This along with a Complete 9" Center Section swap.....

i am running a 3500 coan and am not happy at all with it. bought brand new last year $450 and would only stall around2500 and continually got worse as the season progressed. sent it back last winter and was told that some of the impeller blades were bent backwards and charged $180 dollars to get the same old 2500 (if im lucky) stall. on the other hand we have a 5500 coan in the 79 and couldnt be happier. ????????? has anyone else had this problem?

We've had a couple of Coan converters with good luck...

About the best of the best would be Neal Chance, and Continental.

Gotta broaden the horizons beyond all these guys running around here with Vig's and Yanks

the neal chance converters have made a name for themselves in the NMRA

personally, when i order a converter it is going to be from midwest...they are within driving distance and if i dont like something i just take it to them and they fix it for me

my buddy has run one in his 9.0 nova w/o problems

I'm using a Precision converter. Why?: It was free. I ordered a 3500 stall when I was going to use the D-1X blower, but with these turbos it flashes to 5k+.. I'm going to the track Saturday for some testing but it looks like I'll be sending it back to get tightened up a bit.
