New Best!

Heres the best times.

60ft 1.734
330ft 4.842
594ft 6.929
660ft 7.393@96.81

I also had a best MPH of 97.56.

What do you all think? What do you all think this would equate to in the 1/4?

Not bad for a blown 355 LT1 w/ stock heads

Awesome times man. Definitely mid 11s.

I have never heard of a track giving you your 594ft time. That is odd.

Thanks guys.

Yeah i dont know about the 594 either?

I'm in need of some suspension parts now.
Any suggestions?

It has totally stock suspension except for a polyurethene tranny mount. The front sway bar is out and it has weld prostars on it.

I think 1.60's are possible and low 7's in the 1/8th.

Well,
we're taking a couple cars down there tomorrow (the 12th) to get some of that good traction.

One should be 6.90s and other low, low 7s if everything hooks.

Look for a Black firebird and a Black Cobra look-alike.

Conditions should be great.....

That's crazy!....I ran this weekend 1/8 mile for the first time and ran the exact same time as you down to the tee on one of my 8 runs. Here are my numbers:
60' 1.659
330' 4.761
1/8 7.393
mph 93.19

My car runs 11.4's -11.5's consistently depending on the weather. I think it has an 11.2 @119-120 in it once I get it adjusted better and get it tuned in all the way. Your mph is way higher than mine though. My best 1/8 mile mph was 94.55mph and that's still lower than yours. I think your car will pull much more on the top end and with those times above I would estimate an 11.3@121-123mph in the 1/4 mile out of your car. Congrats!

US41, the track i run at mostly also includes the 594' time on your slip. whether it is printed on your slip or not, all tracks have a 594' clock. the amount of time it takes you to go from the 594' clock to the 660' clock is what the timing system uses to calculate your 1/8 MPH (which is your average MPH over the last 66', same as how they calculate 1/4mph)

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:50 AM.
