No Sunroof - Any regrets?

I've been putting off ordering a 2011 most of the summer because I can't decide about the sunroof. I've been driving my T-Top Z a lot lately with the roof off and I don't know if I could live without an opening roof, BUT I prefer the look of the car without one.

Anyone have have any regrets not getting the sunroof?

Nope, I am 100% happy that I didn't get a sunroof. I hardly ever use the sunroof on my DD, and I like the look of the 2010 without the sunroof.

I dunno... it just seems wrong to have a Camaro with a sun roof.... Like lowering a Jeep it just doesn't fit.

i dont even use the sunroof in my hummer. im glad i didnt getthe sunroof. plus, i dont like the look of it when its opened. if it went into the car, i may have concidered it. but it looks kinda taky going outside above the car. i know its for headroom, but it looks bad opened.

i love the lines of the roof... with the sunroof you don't get the reverse Mohawk...

no regrets here... no sunroof.

Nice choice.

I think this would be my advice going forward...
  1. If you are a sunroof person, get a sunroof in your new Camaro.
  2. If you are not a sunroof person, or don't know if you are a sunroof person or not, then you do NOT get one in your new Camaro.

In other words, like Synergy Green, it takes a certain type of person to get one.

Granting it would probably look stupid in the new car without LOTS of attention to detail, I still miss the t-tops from my 97 Z.

I got the sunroof because all my 4th gens have t-tops (except the convertible LOL) and there are so many lights around here that are right over you that I often find myself looking up through the t-tops at the stop lights. Thought I could do the same with the sunroof but it sets too far back. ARGH! LOL

Re: No Sunroof - Any regrets?

I do regret not getting the sunroof. im used to the ttops in all my previous camaro's, and if i would have gotten a sunroof in my new camaro, i'd use the sunroof.
