Chris is on vacation and he's been doing some maintenance lately. Thanks, though.

I've actually been using part of my vacation to do some maintenance and some optimizations on the server. I'm hoping there won't be too many more slowdowns at all now. Definitely let me know if you guys experience anymore with the times of the slowdowns.

It just took the last ten minutes for my reply to a thread to go through.

I haven't noticed any slowdowns whatsoever. It's been blazing fast for me.

not here....keeps taking forever to do anything. No other sites have any issues at all. This one is very slow, sometimes replies take several times to go through\

Agreed. I ran into it at least three or four times this evening. Click "reply" and it sits there loading for five or six minutes. Type your response and hit "submit" and the same thing. Loading bar for several minutes and then it finally goes through.

Meanwhile, I've checked my email, looked on FaceBook, farted around on Craigslist, and by the time I'm done with all that, my response has just gone through. Seems that this is the only site that gives me any trouble.

It's been happening on here for as long as I can remember. I just chalk it up to a normal happening and don't give it a second thought anymore. Only reason I replied here was because it was the top thread for this category on the main forum page.
