List of valve covers that truly fit over Jesel shaft rockers on LT1
So far I have found 3 brands of valve covers that fit or can be made to fit.
#1
Best fit:
GM Corvette composite
Modification required: Cut out the oil baffles surrounding the PCV hole.
#2
Good fit:
ProForm (also sold as GMPP) medium tall cast centerbolt
Modification required: Grind inside of valve cover for more clearance.
Alternator modification needed, (move forward or relocate)
#3
Ok fit:
Canton fabricated centerbolt valve covers
Modification required: Grind inside of valve cover at alternator notch for shaft clearance or grind rocker shaft bolt head short. Much taller than needed thus heater hoses interfere as well as wire-harness on B-body platform. Alternator interference in some cases on F-body platform.
Any others? I’ve heard that stock GM centerbolt covers can be made to fit. Anyone do that?

I don't see where they would need any clearancing at all as far as the rockers. They are huge inside, has a billet rails and the sides are welded to the ouside of that.....If your talking about the big fabbed ones.

those are the fabbed Moroso's right? nice pieces, for sure, and they claim that they clear all the valvetrain set-ups. the one's I mentioned are the one's I have, but for whatever reason, I cannot find mine on Moroso's site for the purpose of a link.

I modified my LT-1 heads (Trickflows) by drilling and tapping them for these valve covers which would give you plenty of clearence for Jessel rocker arms:

I have the B&B Fabrication valve covers that fit over my T&D shaft mount rockers. I had them made about 3-4 years ago.
They look dented in the pic but there not.

so basically all of these are fitting over Jesel shaft rockers right?
I see that alternator moving or modifying is needed for all of them, (with the exception of the Corvette composites).
Anyone have a valve cover that fits the Jesels and does not require moving the alternator?

I'm using these valve covers with Jesel SS, you will have to modify the inside of the vc, they will work with the alt in the factory position, but you will have to modify the alternator

I have the jesel ss rocker also had to take out the baffle inside to clear but it is an easy fit.I understand if you dont relocate the alternatore you just have to grind off the ear and it will clear
