Anybody know anything about Jet Skis?
I'm thinking of getting either a couple jet skis or a jet boat. Which ones are the best? Best deal? Should I get new or used? Where should I go? Etc., etc., etc.

I think it all depends on what you want to do with them. I think Jet skis are great fun, but IMO I think they get a bit old after a while. There is only so much you can do with them. I just like boats. As for boats it also depends on what you want to do with it. Jet boats haul *** and are fun to drive but IMO you run into some of the same stuff as with the jet skis. Sure you can ski and wakeboard behind them but thats just not what they're best at. If you're not looking for water sports go with the jet boat or jet skis. I think buying boats and jet skis is a lot like cars, You'll most likely get more for your money buying used. Just look around for what you want, and don't jump on the first one you come across. There are some great deals out there on VERY slightly used stuff. People get them and then just don't use them much and sell them.
So when is our next Hooter's trip? I'll get together with you and talk boats all day. I love them ( my real baby isn't my car, it's my boat!)
Later,
Bryce
