Question Boston area people, I need to find a location? parking?

Can you tell me where the "Bell and Hand" is? How is the parking situation in the Faniuel Hall area? Is parking on the streets free after 5pm?6pm? I need to drive into the city tomorrow afternoon, how is the traffic on a Monday afternoon/night? thnx. -jeff

the bell in hand is right behind the holocaust memorial (the big glass pillars to the left of fanueil hall)
Its right around the Purple Shamrock and to the right of the Haymarket T-station.

parking shouldn't be too bad, but there will be a lot of people coming out of the city b/c its monday and people actually have to go to work there are a few parking garages around there but you should be able to find a parking spot over near the Boston Police station. no places really right in fanueil to park so you'll have to walk a couple of blocks.

good luck

Street parking is tough. you might have to drive around a few times and hopefully you will find a spot. there are garages in the area. plan on spending about 20 for parking. all the bars are right there and all the confusion with the big dig is very hard to find spots. becareful you dont get lost down there. the roads change daily with the big dig going on.

when are you going to be in the area. during the week nights after work parking is a little better but weekend nights are tough.
