WTB Throttle Body Elbow 93-97 LT1

Just as the title says. I'm only looking for the elbow that connects to the throttle body. I need one for a 1993-97 350 LT1. It looks like Freddy Krueger got to mine at the end that connects to my throttle body.

I added a picture for refrence.

Thanks,

Nick S

Re: WTB Throttle Body Elbow 93-97 LT1

I just bought one from Summit Racing myself that should be delivered today, I think it was around 70.00 from there and lowest price i could find on a new one... You probably already know this, but
If not and you want the part # I can find it for you!

Yea I was looking at some of those as well. I was just curious if anyone had a stocker sitting in a box in their garage collecting dust.

I appreciate the info!

Hopefully someone can hook you up,
I was Laughing at your description of yours and can definitely relate.. the previous owner of my car has mine held together with a ton of electrical tape at the TB.. Unfortunately I have to change my thermostat for summer and figured there is no way I was putting it on again!

Re: WTB Throttle Body Elbow 93-97 LT1

I know it's a pretty long shot to find one. For mine the previous owner obviously found it too complicated to get the elbow over the lip to hook up to the throttle body. I guess the genius never considered losing a lubricant to grease it up a bit vs dry rubber on dry metal. What a dummy. They decided to shred the bottom right corner and made it look like it was fed halfway through a paper shredder. I've owned this car for 3 years now and it is 95% stock. But yet I'm still periodically inning hack jobs on it. I'm 34 so I've had my fair share of used cars and I have to say this one has been the least painful thus far. I know the fact that it is unmolested was a must if I got another LT1.

Here are some pics just for fun.

Wow,,Car looks great, usually i am not a big fan of ground effects on these cars but your set or brand looks very nice, tasteful, and flow nicely with the 98 up SS spoiler on the back...
mines red too but with the black pillar.. Im currently making a 96-97 SS clone out of it appearance wise and its costing a ridicules amount for the OEM parts!

Re: WTB Throttle Body Elbow 93-97 LT1

Nice! I'd like to see some pics. The first 2 years of the 4th gen 93-94 all came with black mirrors and the black roof regardless of options. 95 was the first year they color matched the mirrors and roof. My old one was a 94 (hence my name) but my current one is a 95 so that's why the roof is color matched. My mirrors were also originally color matched. Soon I will be tinting the windows and painting the roof black. I like to look of the upper half of the car black with some black mixed in with the front and rear.

I appreciate the kind comments. I know there are plenty of people out there that aren't fans of how I modded the car. I plan on some day also adding a ss hood. I'm fine with aftermarket but would prefer oem like yourself. I'm not one of those people that will put a "whale tail" spoiler and a 5" cowl hood on it. In my opinion you turn a American muscle car with a V8 into a full blown ricer. Granted some may say mine us because it has ground effects and it's lowered.

As the years have gone by it has been becoming harder and harder to find our cars not beat to ****, rotting, rusting, smashed up, dented to hell, interior trashed and looking like pig pen frim Charlie brown lived in it. Mine is far from perfect. 3 weeks ago I just pulled off the intake and replaced the gasket because it was leaking oil from about 85% of the intake surface. Damn LT1s are notorious for leaking from every orifice possible!

Sorry for the useless novel.

Nick S

Hahaha! It's funny you mention the trim. I've never really been a fan of it. On some cars it looks good but most it breaks apart how the car flows. I actually just removed the trim on my grocery getter last week.
I guess I just don't like how it looks on most cars. These are before and after I pulled the trim off my 300 C.
