"Salad-Shooter" style wheels with snow tires
I have a set of Vredestein Wintrac tires, size 225/55-R16 mounted on cast aluminum Z28 "salad-shooter" wheels. I only used them one winter on my '00 SS, and they still have plenty of tread left, good for several more winters, depending on how heavy your right foot is during dry spells.
The tires were excellent, they allowed me to keep going in weather that stopped most other cars and slowed the snow plows. (and my car didn't have ASR)
Wheels are in good shape, two center caps are pretty good, two are a little sad looking, but still functonal.
I am looking to get $500.00 for the set, but my dad wants them out of his garage, so I am willing to make a deal. I prefer local pickup (I live in Maple Grove) I will ship, but I don't know for sure how much it would cost to do so.
Thanks for looking!
David.

Re: "Salad-Shooter" style wheels with snow tires
I'm kinda a n00b here, and I don't really know how to post pics, but I do have several I can email if someone wants to see what the wheels look like. I am flexible on my price, mostly I just need to get them out of my dad's garage before he removes them for me (trash can).
Thanks again for looking!

Does $400.00 Sound better?
The wheels are in great shape, the tires have plenty of tread, and are hands down the best winter tires I have ever used, and they still grip pretty good in the dry (very smooth and solid on the highway, and grippy when cornering, not squirmy like a lot of snow tires).
I even have an extra set of lug nuts I will throw in (if I can find them)
