Hope your guys nail him. It is sickening to see all of this dishonesty going on. I am having a similar problem with a seller who hasn't come through, he is not responding to my messages, and now his mailbox is coincidentally full. I'll put my complaint post about him back to the top. I know he has sold some other things, just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this guy.

search for perfect10cycles, he has a few of them...

BTW, that is his bank account and routing number, which can be directly traced to a name/location. That's a lot better than an email address.

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

That guy tried to screw me over too. Fortunatly, I followed my instincts and bailed because I got a funny feeling about him. He was using that stupid perfect10cycle email address which is through a bulleting board and totally untraceable. Plus, none of my reverse searches were coming up with any matches.

Hopefully the cops can put together enough evidence to do something. Too many people are getting away with this crap because they are too lazy to earn a living. Good luck.

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

Hi guys, glad I typed in that phone number and saw this thread. This guy almost took me for $3,250 for an LS1/T-56 pullout, complete with pictures. He's been using twoocustom@cycleforums.com as his e-mail address and told me that his name was Allen Samuels. He's going by "makingright" on ls1tech.com now. Thanks for keeping an eye out, you guys just saved me!

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

I'm doing what I can at the moment. I just tried calling the FMPD and apparently all the detectives had left for the day, and the secretary didn't seem like helping me out too much. She suggested I file a report with my local PD, so that's what I'll do.

Local PD is no help. Because he "hasn't actually committed a crime,"... wtahever... I can't file a report. I will however blow the horn on him on ls1tech.

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

If the detective is taking too long, just go down there and take your $800 back, or $800 dollars worth of stuff plus a "hassle charge" from this assclown. Actually, just showing up, knocking on his door and getting in his face would probably scare him enough into coughing up your money. Most people who get scammed are not lucky enough to get a physical address of the scammer!

Bump to the top for you guys that got screwed over!

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

I was in a similar situation with a guy from Puerto Rico, for a $200 touchscreen LCD for my carputer project. Rest assured, you will more than likely get your money back via paypal. It took a little while, but I got the full refund. Be persistant and do tons of research, dig up all numbers, addresses (send letters) email, etc. I even sent an email to his ISP reporting him of internet fraud. Good luck, and sorry to hear about your trouble.

Re: I have been ripped off! Be on the lookout! Identity Theft?

Tell him you'll mail him a money order or cashier's check and see what address he gives you. If you pay with a CC thru paypal the CC company can get your $$ back. They did for me and reversed the paypal charges on good ol Rick Cardarella in Poughkeepsie, NY. I got my $300 back for the HSR I never received.
