Thats likely the metal shavings from refacing the intake side that was damaged and repaired. Believe it or not some machine shops dont clean thier stuff before handing it to the customer. Seems stupid, but I have dealt with a shop like that, and it was the last time I went back there after they handed me a crank that still had debris in the oil passages.

The casting numbers are on top of the head,somewhere stamped in,by the valve springs.How much lift will those springs handle?What size cam were you going to use?

The casting number is 10207643, No i really didnt get that far in choosing a cam or anything...and as far as springs all I know are that they are crane "double springs"

Damn, they're ported and everything. Look. I might have the money by tonight. If so, I'll definitely take them off your hands. Will these work with a stock bottom end LT1 with a cam and tune? Or are they made for use with a stroker or something? Let me know. Thanks.

sorry bro. but i've decided if i'm going to spend $800 on heads, i might as well just give lloyd elliot $1200 and get the ported heads and custom grind cam. can't bet 370-400 rwhp for that price. thanks anyways man and good luck with your sale.
