1LE Springs For Sale and Shift Light

As the title says, a set of 1LE springs off of my 1995 Z28. In good condition approximately 40,000 miles on them. The part numbers are still on the springs and are as follows:
Rear Springs-22132562 (130-180 lbs/in)
Front Springs-22132561 (360 lbs/in.)

Here is a write up from www.f-body.org that explains about the springs and lists the part numbers for those who are curious:
http://www.f-body.org/faq/4/4_1.htm#ch4_1j

I'd prefer to sell as a set but am willing to sell seperately as a last resort. These are the real deal, authentic 1LE's.

Prices are as follows:
Set (all 4)-$125 plus shipping
Individual (front or rear)-$70 plus shipping

Pictures can be seen here:

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=224

Also adding an Autometer Pro-Shift Lite with a 6.0 pill. Pictures on cardomain site above. Looking for $50 plus shipping.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

Sorry to jack your thread, but do you have the instructions or a base line for setting the 1LE shocks, if you had the konis?

Do you know the free length (height) if these springs? I am not sure where to check on this or I'd do it myself...

Sorry, this wasn't clear - do you know the free length of the rears?

I might be interested in the rears if you can tell me the free length of the rear springs. Do you know how tall they are?

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

Well...I'm not exactly sure what your looking for. If you mean the height from top to bottom then they are 1 foot 7 inches tall. From what i've hear the 1LE springs are about 1/4 of an inch taller that regular springs. There is some debate on it but i'm not really sure b/c these were not on my car when I bought it so I don't really know what to compare them too. Althought they are more stiffer due to the spring rate. Let me know if this still isn't clear enough for you.

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

Based on your comments, these coils are not on the car. That's good because this should be pretty straight-forward.

The easiest way to measure the springs is to put the larger diameter end of the coil on a flat surface. Then run a tape mesure through the middle of the coil from the flat surface to the top of the pig tailed end (that should be the on top now) and that distance is the free length of the coil.

One foot, 7 inches sounds a little big for rear springs.

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

If you posted this about two weeks ago, I would have bought them in a heartbeat. I bought a set of WS6 springs for my car.

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

Sorry man, I doubled checked the measurements and its 1 foot 6 inches. I had done it the way you decribed the first time but I mis-read the tape measurer. My bad. Let me know what you think and if you want them or not.

Re: 1LE Springs For Sale

Those are gonna be too tall for my application. Sorry to put you through this. Hopefully, you'll make a deal on these since they are fairly priced.

Thanks.
