FS: high end 355 sbc, part out or assy.

thinking of selling my motor, i have the top end for sale seperate and was thinking of selling it apart, but if it doesnt sell, i can make it a complete long block, intake to pan, and sell it as a whole motor. for those of you that dont know my car or combo, its a 355 that moved my #3600+ camaro to 10.1 at 134 with a 150 shot only. made 520hp on the motor only with a flat tappet cam, and 700+ on the 150 shot on nitrous. reason for selling is 2 main reasons for me, first its only 355 cid, my car is big, its needs more cubes to get it doing what i want to do now, and the other is if i want to start making some serious power beyond what it is now, its gonna have to be spun to the moon to make power, it wont be reliable, and the block is at its max for oem, any more power i risk blowing my hard earned cash up. the motor (depending on interest)will be either sold as a top end and short block seperate, or as a whole complete long block. everything used to build this motor is top notch, and high end, no skimping at all, it might seem pricey at first but you get what you pay for remember, this is a no expense spared motor that will last forever for someone looking for a high hp small block for the street/strip. the motor when sold,(short or long block) will be 100% fresh with new gaskets, bearings, rings etc. all fresh and ready to go as if it was a brand new motor, built and checked by precision valve and crank in north van.

SPECS:

- 1969 350 4 bolt block 10% high nickle, with full ARP stud kit bored .030
- scat 4340 3.48 stroke std weight crank, 2 piece, 6" rod
- scat 4340 h beam rods with ARP cap bolts
- srp 11cc dome 2618 high compression pistons (made 11:1 on 76cc) streetable with 94
- moroso deep sump oil pan with built in crank scraper and windage tray
- cloyes double roller timing chain with aluminum 2 piece cover, fully adjustable cam timing
- powerbond SFI balancer, only part thats a little worn, has some surface rust on it, not bad though.
- melling high performance oil pump
- speed pro hellfire rings
- ARP studs for oil pan, 1 piece seal
- block has been fully machined and spec'd, balanced and bluprinted. balanced to within .5 gram
- currently has a solid flat tappet crane cams 252/260@ .050 .536/.554 lift 112LSA .026 lash
- fel pro head gaskets
- comp cams magnum pushrods

TOP END:

- AFR 210cc race heads 76cc heads complete with 2 sets of springs, roller ones and the flat tappet ones
- full ARP head stud kit
- crane 1.6 aluminum roller rockers
- crane stud girdle
- polished aluminum valve covers
- edelbrock victor jr intake

only thing not for sale as of now, are the headers, water pump, carb, flexplate and distributor, nitrous system not for sale. if bought as a complete motor, those are the only parts needed to be added. i will try and leave as much bolts as i can the whole motor is ARP. i will be taking the CSR fuel plate and water neck, but they will be replaced with a quality replacement part, unless buyer specifies its not needed as he has his own. prices can be negotiable to serious buyers

prices:

- AFR heads w/2 sets springs $1350.00
- crane roller rockers $160.00
- crane girdle $140.00
- valve covers $30.00
- vic jr intake $175.00

packaged top end $1800.00

- complete short block less top end, everything included, brand new fresh built, ready to go, just throw a top end on, $3200.00, motor had over 1000.00 in machine and balancing alone.

will sell together fully built and ready to rock long block, with top end and bottom end for $5600.00 delivered to your door in the lower mainland. precision stands by their work and the motor will be 110% when you get it. if someone is interested in the whole package then a price can be worked out based on interest. i am pretty firm and i dont want to move too much on this. this setup for sale cost me about $10,000 when i built it a few years ago, now my loss is someones gain, because hey, thats racing
