Moving there July the 1st and my car hates the ozone layer. In my home town i have a few places i can go, but up there i'm not going to know anyone. Any love?

To my knowledge you do not need an inspection sticker in Yakima. I am not familiar with "inspection sticker" protocol since I have never had to get one. Is it a one time deal since you are entering WA from a different state?

If not, I live in Ellensburg right next to Yakima, and use to live in Yakima a few years ago...and have never heard anyone ask about inspection stickers.

So i just show up and get my car registered for plates and thats it? Here we have to get registration sticker (they check general things horn, lights, wipers, blinkers, tire tread, exhaust) you don't have this?

Also what is the law on exhaust up there, ie dumped and Db's

Yep. You get plates, and they print you a neat new registration. That's it. They have never checked anything on either of my vehicles. Exhaust laws are technically anything that is not OE is illegal. However, I drove around with open headers for a while and never got hassled. I currently daily drive the car with no muffler, just a long resonator...it's extremely loud on throttle and I have never been talked to about it. As long as you aren't a jackass, you can pretty much drive around with anything you want...including open headers.

I've been pulled over 3 times this year in Yakima, and all three times the only thing they told me was to move my front plate so it was more visible, and asked me why my taillights are black. No fix-it tickets, just recommendations.

I've got my plate on the front air dam, is that where yours is?

Yep exact same place. It's still there. But, if you get hassled for anything, I'd put money on it being that front plate. They most likely won't write you a ticket for it, but they'll tell you to movie it.

I just received a ticket for no front plate and window tint the other day... the 31st infact..... i requested to talk to a judge
