I'll copy your post to the "Cars for Sale" forum. Not much chance of many people reading it where you posted it.

You might want to add your location, either to your signature or to the post. Appears from my control panel that it may be Arlington VA. The more information you provide, the more chances you have of a response.

Cool Re: A welcome to all new visitors of CamaroZ28.Com!

New Member here....just traded my 1998 Harley Dyna Convertible for 1994 Camaro Z/28 Convertible. A bit rough but runs strong. Fun car! (my first Camaro)

Re: A welcome to all new visitors of CamaroZ28.Com!

Appreciate the warm welcome. I just recently bought a 93 z28 and of course the She is the same age as I am but She still runs like a champ. She is basically all stock and looking for some opinions on some of the first mods I should take into concideration of applying first and a great place to purchase them.

Newbie here as well - my name is David and from Columbus, Ohio. Looking to buy one soon, sort of looking at the 2SS either 2013 or 2014 new or a 2010 or 2012 "transformers" edition.

I just put a deposit on a new Z28. I'm trying to figure out whether or not to order it with, or without air conditioning. Any thoughts?

Mark:

LinkedIn shows you are the sales manager at Advantage Chevrolet, in Bolingbrook IL, where this message was posted from. And you need help deciding if you want A/C in your Z28?

Re: A welcome to all new visitors of CamaroZ28.Com!

Fred, why not? Honestly, it seems like a tough decision. Mark's position puts him in a position to buy. While I question the idea that a sales manager would have to put down a deposit (assuming he is buying from his own dealership, which he might not be able to given the limited allocation), I think Mark's question is genuine.

Mark: what's your intended use for the car? If it's a race car and nothing more, then no A/C. If you intend to mix in some street driving, the A/C might be nice on hot summer days. If you're not going to race it at all, I say get the A/C for sure, but I also urge you not to buy a Z/28 if you're not going to race it. Spend the same money on a loaded Stingray; I guarantee it's the nicer car on the street. You do not want to be behind the wheel of a Z/28 in metro Chicago traffic.

Couldn't have been too serious..... 2 weeks since his first and only post, and he has not been back to this site.

Talking Re: A welcome to all new visitors of CamaroZ28.Com!

Long time 3rd gen Z28 owner, the car is a pet of mine at the moment..... Owned the car since 1996 when my father bought a corvette, got through college with it at UW-Milwaukee and the car is rusted here in Las Vegas. I just put 7 grand in the car and she still idles high, still need new tires (tires are 15 years old and have flat spots so very hard to drive, but still a quick car surprisingly).Body work is next and it's gonna cost. That's me story with AKA white lightning/Candy cane ...
