T -56 problem

T -56 problem

I just bought a 96 Z-28 with a T-56 and 3rd jumps out of gear then after the first time I really got on da gas n shifted hard into 2nd gear it started to make a gear noise not grinding bit noisy gears and now 2nd gear grinds ever time I shift onto it either downshifting or going from 1st to 2nd ... does anybody know what my problem could be ?

I tried to help, but he never came back to the site to check for a response. Just posted his problem, signed off a minute later and never came back.
