First Message,
Hello to everyone. Just signed up and hope to read and learn a lot on this site.
As you can see from my profile I combine two Chevrolet classics in my garage.
The tri-fives and the Camaro.
I'm a 'young' owner of a '55 Chevy, being it was my 1st car! Bought it when I was 13 and will have it 27 years next month - wow time flies I guess. One of these days it's going to get a full on restoration back to its original color.
I had/have a '79 Camaro Berlinetta that has been in my family for almost 32 years now. I drove it in high school and into college but it got sidelined when I graduated and began my life.
Finally bought my dream car last fall. Found a 2002 Z28 convertible that had only 5730 miles on it when I brought it home. From 2000-2002 I looked at these cars and came very close to buying one back then. Am glad I finally got one.
Hope to meet many people on this site, and maybe see you around Illinois.
thanks & take care,
Mark
