i joined because after searching through some chevy truck forums i was laughed off for wanting a fast truck and not a mud vehicle but hey whatever you guys seem cool.

Re: new guy.
Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!!
Several people here with "swaps".... a Jaguar, an RX-7, I think someone has a truck.... everyone is welcome, and we'll help you to the extent we can. What engine are you planning on using?

Re: new guy.
the engine is an lt1 and its hooked into a t-56. i was told when i bought the car it had lt4 cams but im pretty sure the guy was full of it and it needs some love. this may not be advised but im changing the fuel delivery system. still disputing between carb or megasquirt. i like the idea of the carb and distributor swap. the ecu is fried on the camaro and the harness looks like **** too. I've been mean to the poor girl i got it when i was younger and dumber then moved two states away and stashed it into a storage shed for a year and she's going to need some love but i got plenty to give it.

Re: new guy.
The stock LT4 cam (only one) isn't really any different than the LT1 cam. The main diff was 1.5X rockers in the LT1, and 1.6X full roller rockers in the LT4. What some people will swap in is the LT4 HOT cam, which will pick of a few HP, but isn't very radical.
