Welcome to CamaroZ28.com !!

Great looking ride. Hopefully someone can help you with you carpet question. As these cars age there are fewer and fewer active 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen owners.

Nice looking car. You may find more specific info here, Third Generation F-Body Message Boards I have a friend that used to have one of these. He still has the original GM decals in the original packaging. I'll try to track him down if you are interested. We are in the Tampa Bay area.

He hasn't come back and signed in for two weeks, so maybe he already found an alternative site. Hate sending people to another site, but there is no on here helping the 3rd Gen people. Sad.

Re: New Florida Member

Nope, Still here..LOL.. I am in Ruskin, Just South of Tampa. I have a set of decals for the doors and posts that came with the car, also an extra set of CAMARO for the glass. Just taking care of a few other things before I get them put on, However another set couldn't hurt if you can track you buddy down. I have been on, Just haven't logged in. I logged on today to Thank the forum for all the help I have found in other feeds. Went out today to check for a vacuum problem that was only giving me Defrost from the control panel, found the fire wall canister and plugged in the vac line that had fallen off. Bada Boom, Bada Bing, control panel works perfect. Took all of 5 minutes. Heater core replaced, New carpet sitting in my living room for the weekend.

Near New Brunswick. Retired senior citizen actually. Finally have time to get my Formula back on the road. And no more inspections or stickers for 1995 and older removes all those concerns. Bought the car new in California, then moved back to NJ a year later.

Re: New Florida Member

first of all congrats for such a awesome car.let me tell you something about pace car,Starting in the mid-1950s, the auto manufacturer who provided the official pace car started selling replica pace cars to the general public. In many cases, the official on-track pace car was modified from its street-legal counterpart. Strobe lights, rolls bars, multi-point harnesses, and removing the air conditioning, are among some of the modifications made for the actual pace car. Some official pace cars, however, have undergone extensive modifications, including suspension, transmission, or even engine modifications from their production counterpart.
this is the right place to get the information regarding pace car.
congrats once again.

Don't we just love it when a spammer from India comes here, and makes believe he knows us by some sort of info on "pace cars" that he copied and pasted from another source. Then he puts a spam link in his signature, offering to prepare "dissertations" for people.
