Hi all.
I made a post in the lt1 thread with a question but it said a moderator needed to approve it or something. Now I cant find the post in my control panel. Any idea how long it takes for a moderator to approve a post?
Anyhow, I'm in Michigan. I just got a 1994 firebird formula with old red trans-am rims, flowmaster exhaust (no headers)...and so far its working me to death trying to figure problems out...

Re: Hi all.
Welcome to CamaroZ28.com!! Good to see another 94 Formula on the site.
Post is in "LT1 Based Engine Tech". I approved it.
Sounds like a combination of a cheap Chinese rip-off Opti (there's a reason the AC Delco, Delphi and MSD cost as much as they do - and no, the MSD unit is no better than the factory part), and soaking it with coolant - an absolute no-no with an unvented Opti.
Download the free Scan9495 software, get a cable, and run a proper scan. See the "sticky" thread at the top of the "computer diagnostics....." Forum for info on the software.

Re: Hi all.
thanks for the reply. back to...get what you pay for?? ugh...
i'll go check the other thread for any responses. I definitely plan on building/getting some sort of scan tool. everything is just so foreign to me right now...

Re: Hi all.
I deleted "her" post so you can't see it any more. I'll delete my comment, which is no longer meaningful.
Sorry for any confusion.
