Re: Hi everyone

I've got a 99 Z28 M6 LS1, documented white on white car. Cost me some $$ because GM is screwed up and didn't keep records of the Canadian built cars down here. So vintage vehicle services of GM Canada had to do some "research" to get me the documents.

Here it is, couldn't add the image to my sig unfortunately:

Check out the North East F-Body Association forums man. There's a lot of local guys there. And by the 97 LT1's are a beast man. Any pics of it around online?

I've had a few of em thoughout the years. My first was a 1980 plain jane with a 3.8L 229cid V6 and a saginaw 3 spd. Didn't stay that way for long, dropped a 355cid with a built TH350 into it shortly after. Got my parents into the Camaro's and next thing I know, my mom is buying a 92 RS, and they picked up a 87 Convertible with the L69 option (305HO 4bbl) with only 63 produced that year.

My second was an 86 Iroc, another beastly car that didn't stay stock for long. This is my first 4th gen and loving it! Nothing like the powerplant that is in there now, and it's about time they lightened up these cars!

Re: Hi everyone

Wow, that is a nice looking Camaro. So your parents caught the need for speed bug too? My other toy is a 86 Buick T- Regal. She is a very fast girl. This 97 Camaro is my first one.

Re: Hi everyone

Thanks man, the pics make it look much better lol. And yeah the parents really caught the bug afterwards. My dad helped build the first one I had and bet he's probably partial to blame. Either that or they were both trying to be that "cool" parent back then.

A buddy of mine had a t-type regal back in the day, I want to say it was an 86 as well, but not 100%. Love the design they had went with and man they were comfortable as hell!

Re: Hi everyone

That's awesome that you have cool parents. I call my Buick the Granny National. It looks like a 80's family car, but will blow on by you. The Camaro is also a nice ride. This past weekend, I replaced the break pads all the way around, on the Camaro. Then I took it to a car cruise, then it started to poor. Everybody took off. All well. Maybe next weekend.
