Quick question on Nitrous Express kits

I see the GM EFI wet kit from nitrous express (20920-10) comes with 50-150 hp jets in the box....can this kit support a 250 shot if i buy the jets or is there a limitation on the selonoids? I want to buy the new style noids for my nitrous setup and figure buying a kit would be easier and I could have a spare bottle and some parts...just dont want to be stuck with noids that do a max of 150....if they can be jetted higher whats there limit before you need those larger orfice noids?

A single nozzle usually maxes out around 150hp. Plus the distribution of a single nozzle may cause problems even if it could flow 250hp.

If this is for the car in your sig. I would recommend a dual nozzle system with the nozzles in front of your tb or a new plate that does not have a spray bar. Another option is the maf nitrous kit that comes with a replacement mass air flow body to spray the nitrous. The problem with the old plates or the nozzles mounted behind your tb is distibution.

i'm sorry I wasn't clear...I am going to be using a the MAF kit from nitrous express, i think the limit on that is a 400 hp shot.....but can the noids from the kit i mentioned above support the 250hp shot with the correct jets and that maf kit?

The solenoids can support up to 300 HP...the MAF kit can flow 250 HP per stage

You will need to upgrade the 3AN lines that run from the solenoids to the MAF plate to SHO lines. and 4AN fitting for the solenoids.

Ray,

The NX site shows the LT1 MAF kit can support a 400 hp shot...is this not the case? By SHO i assume you mean super high output...To make it easier i have the following questions:

1) For a 250 shot...what size main nitrous line from the bottle to the nitrous selonoid?

2) For a 250 shot...what size main fuel line is required?

3) If a larger then normal main nitrous/fuel line is required, can i still run a smaller shot? lets say a 75 shot?

4) For a 250 shot..what size nitrous line from selonoid to the NX MAF block? (this? http://nitrousoutlet.com/catalog/pro...roduct_id=2615)

5) For a 250 shot..what size fuel line from the selonoid to the NX MAF block? (does ths need to be SHO)

called NX to verify...was told 250 per stage is the max recommended...it might max out closer to 300 per stage but they don't have jetting above 250.

4AN will work...but 6AN would be better

4AN is fine

yes, you can still run a smaller shot

yes...that is a 4AN line with a 3AN nut to connect to the jet fitting...you will also need a 1/8npt to 4AN fitting to put in the outlet of the nitrous solenoid

The 3AN line that came with the kit will be fine. Only the nitrous side is a restriction
