99 z28 with forged 383 and stock 10 bolt rear

Hi guys,

I have a street car and can't decide between the bottle or a supercharger.
The 10 bolt is still there, only 60k miles on the car. I won't race from a dig, I just want to do highway pulls here and there.

Can I get away with the stock rear running a 200-250 shot?

Thanks.

you can get away with it for a lil while but its a time bomb. ive seen people go 10's with the 9 bolt . and ive seen stockers break. I went ahead an put a 9 inch in the v6

13k for an ATI D1S and the 9" moser.

I can't justify that kind of money. I am thinking 9" plus a nice nitrous system for 5k.

I have about 80 passes 1.63-1.68 60ft times, with the stock 10 bolt on sticky mickey thompson ET Street Radials....i will be upgrading to a lpw cover with the welded braces, because the gears like to pop out of these things..the reason why I'm doing that is because i will be spraying at least a 200 shot out of the hole .
