300+ shot, o-ring block or not?

300+ shot, o-ring block or not?
Looking for input from guys running 300+ shot on LT-1. The short block is at the machine shop now getting rebalanced for n2o piston change. The builder suggested o-ring the block. Car is 90% strip, 10% street. Thanks in advance!
