Speedshop in San Diego?

I am thinking about either having my LT1 rebuild or have an LS1 put in my Z28. Can anyone recommend a good speed shop in the San Diego area? I prefer one that handles them on a "regular" basis and puts some warranty behind their work. Thanks!!

Have you considered posting this in the South Western Area regional forum? Doesn't really belong in the "tech" forums.

Moderator: can you move the post?

Good idea, reason I posted it here was that I was hoping to find someone who also got fed up with their LT1 and had an LS of some type installed at a shop. My car is a daily driver so I can't afford all these continuing issues and need to have the swap done in an reasonable amount of time.

There aren't really any good speed shops that are LT/LS exclusive. You could try JBA Performance they are reputable.

If you are referring to the makers of headers, I checked out their website and did not find anything that said they had a speed shop, is that something do not advertise or did I miss it? Thanks though!

JBA built my motor. They are well known in the mustang world but do a lot of LT1/LS1 work. There is an f-body nearly everytime I visit the shop. They have 2 shops, jba headers and jba racing, thats probably what got you confused.
This is their speedshop website:

http://www.jbaracing.com/

Everything you wanna know is in there.

Thanks Marc! You are right that was what confused me. I have been in touch with them today and they are extremely helpful so I look forward to getting it done there.
