i will admit i know nothing about convertors. but wouldn't it be loose down low, as i would want it to flash up at higher rpms? like i said i know nothing about auto trans setups and going fast.

dan,
get a custom blanket made like i did.... done!

last visit wasn't to D&D, i had some work done that they couldn't do. i actually had Joe and Amber @ T56 rebuilds do some work for me in a huge pinch!!!

I have 3 pedals. but one is tucked under the carpet. :finger:

for a nitrous car, you need it to be pretty tight cause the nitrous will cause it to "loosen". the same exact affect a large cubic inch engine would have on a converter compared to a small block. it will stall HIGHER behind the bigger engine. so what would be rated at 4000 in a N/A application, will do what denny said, and flash higher off the line, under juice. his new converter is prolly rated at like 2000 rpm in N/A form.

lashed, cold plugged, electric water pumped, race fueled, tire swapped, strapped, and loaded up Ah it's fun turning street car into track car...

Tanman, the converter is like a slipper clutch. You want that thing to be loose but you want it to grab HARD just before or near the TQ peak so that car moves out ASAP. Adding nitrous/TQ means the converter needs to be built with that extra harshness in mind. Getting it just right rarely happens with 1 shot. 5000NA/6000NO2 was too much slip. 3000NA/4000NO2 will be before the TQ peak on a small shot. Adding more jet will make the stall higher, maybe 4500/5000...Hopefully by that point I am nearing liftoff..

2 pedal touche

10.43 @ 131.17 1.487 60ft. That backed up a 10.44 first pass.
pulling 7 degrees with a 150 jet. I went 4 rounds on the hose! too bad I was eliminated on the 2nd...ha Didn't watch for flash rpm but it definately didn't bog!

Sweet. Are you spraying off the line or delaying just a smidge?
