Some of the old schoolers may recognize the handle. Been a while, life has it's ups and downs as we all know. Things are back on the upside and I am working my way back into the hobby. Gotta find a car to play with, but that is only part of this hobby.

For those that remember ten years ago when I along with some friends wandered off and founded the New Jersey F-body Owners Association the good news is that it is still alive and kicking, the better news is that I have time to be involved again, and the fantastic news is that these two things add up to the return of the East Coast F-Body Nationals next year.

I hope to be active here and attending a lot of racing and car shows. Hope to reconnect with old friends and put some faces to the names that are new to me.

There's not many of us old timers left. It's becoming a struggle to keep the site alive. Really little more than an LT1 site now. We could use some LS1 input.

Yeah, reading through the forums it looks like things have really slowed down since the old days. To be honest i am just getting back into things after a few tumultuous years. I don't even have a fun car currently.

I have started getting more active in the NJFBOA again. Trying to work on getting back to some of the basics and get things moving over there again.

What have you been up to Fred? I know you got super busy with work for a while and from the looks of the sig the car is still bad *** fast.

My car may be fast, but it does little more than sit in the garage. I'm coming up on 10 years with the same paving contractor, and work has kept me from having fun with the Formula. Things will get better next year, because I'm retiring, but they may not let me take it down the strip it my advanced age

It isn't just this board that lost a lot of traffic. Some other boards I frequent are the same way. The Chevelle board used to take hours to get up to speed on, each day. Now it takes just a few minutes.

I really miss racing in Div 1. Hopefully I can get back next summer. I traded in the mustang last winter so I won't be on the blue oval side this time if the F-body vs mustang thing happens. -Jim
