That is about right. A good "hands on "tuning sessioin from a tuner that will read your data logs and change idle fuel trims, play with timing, etc through low and mid range will hepp the cars drivablity. They will need to see a data log of you idling, cruising, etc and explain what they are doing. You could probably post the data logs here or on LS1tech in the tuning section and some one will find some ways to improve idle, low end and mid range power.

Alot of tuning places that do "dyno tunes" will just make 3-5 pulls and make sure there is no knock retard and make sure the A/F is in checka nd the call that a dyno tune. Most do not even spend any time on dialing in lower RPM stuff and this is where you want most of the work to be done. It is an endless amount of tyweaks and changes in volved but when it is ALL dialed in, the car will drive MUCH better and run harder.

You might look into a lap top and purchasing TunerCats. It is not that much and there are peoplke here to help with the learning curve. Just rememeber to save every tune so if you take a step backwards, you can go back to the previous tune that worked well.

    Hey I have an LE3 heads/cam/intake on my 383.

The cam you said was a 240/240 .600 lift cam.

    Compression is 12.2:1

I am getting about 13-15" of vaccum right now. Is this about right? I should I get a dyno tune?

    thanks
