Car shut down yesterday after reving engine up it shut off on decel
restarted and it ran fine so i drove it to work, did a hard accell and again
it cut off when i let off the gas but started back up. i drove it home after
work and let it idle at 4k it shut off , it started right back up so i raised
the rpms again and as before when it hit 4k it shut off but this time it
would not start, i have a new opti and coil i replace the new coil with the old coil when i got home to see if the coil was going bad but this was not the caes. The opti is from auto zone so i may have to replace it. Does any one have or know away to test the icm i did the voltage checks and A& D were at 12v at the connector harness for the icm and i have 1.8 volts on the AC voltage signal test. Any advice?

Have you checked the fuel pressure? It sounds as though the fuel pump was on it's last leg and could not keep up with demand. Now it's give up entirely. Had you run real low on fuel recently? Need to get a gage to check it. Use one with a hose so you can tape it to the windshield.
