Absolutely baby it, on the highway with cruise on 16 mpg.
Running the crap out of it..... Left the house on 1/4 tank, went 2 miles, turned around came 2 miles back, car ran out of gas in my driveway...

383 with AI 200cc heads, 6xx lift cam, 42# injectors and 255lph fuel pump

The car is my friday driver/ week-end cruiser. I have a saturn if I want mileage.

When I had my 98 SS M6 I got around 25 hwy not sure on my lt1 yet just got it on the road a day ago.

I'm working with LLoyd to build a fuel efficient 383 LE2 setup. When that happens I'll bring this post back to life as it will be a few months then keep everyone posted.

My fuel milage is inversly proportional to my gas pedal

With mine, I get about 19-20 highway and something way, way less than that in stop and go driving.

i would be lucky to get 15 mpg about 235 miles on a tank
l have seen some high numbers on this thread ?????
search this web site ((www. fuel economy .gov ))
it will tell you the gas mileage on any vehicle since 1980?

Re-Ringed @ 61Kmiles, now has 79,000, Just stock with K&N airbox filter and performa-built stage 1 auto trans.....getting 13-15avg, mixed driving 87octane.

MPG has a lot to do with R foot activity....mine is 15 city, 20 hwy (if I drive 65)
