What type of brake pads?

I need to get some brake pads for my 97 z28. I still have some left buit i want to get them changed before the winter. What kind of brake pads do you guys recommend? I don't need race performance brakes (although it would be nice). I just need some medium grade brakes that have good stopping power, little dust, and little noise. Murrays has some standard ones with lifetime warranty (free replacements forever) and it has one that is the performance brakes. I was wondering if i hsould go with murrays stuff or buy online?

Also, is there anyway to tighten the wheel boltts enough without a torque wrench. I burrowed a torque wrnech from a neibor but i dont have the right size bolt to take out the lug nuts so imay get one or can i do it without them?

Re: What type of brake pads?

I've used Hawk pads for a long time, they've done right by me. Good price too.
