I don't mean to jack the thread, but are the m6's supposed to keep a high idle untill you come to a complete stop? Mine will drop to about 13-1400 when I push in the clutch at crusing speed, then won't drop to normal idle untill I stop completely. Is this normal, I've owned plenty of cars that were sticks before and none did this.

Mine also indicates 1000 rpm at idle.
Even with the clutch disengaged your probably getting some transfer to the engine from the drive train. Never actually noticed if mine does this or not. I'll have to try this on the way home to night.

You car is programmed to idle higher until you hit a certain speed...really really slow! If you are crusing and push in the clutch it should idle around 1200 or so!

Tried this on the way home. Sure enough it sit right on 1500 then slowly drops to 1200 rpm while moving. I don't see why this should bother anyone? It doesn't interfere with the function or drivabililty of the car in anyway. Plus I don't shift slow enough for the engine speed to ever reach idle anyway. Also I'm far more concerned with the top of the tech. not the bottom.
