Okay, my car is a 95 z28...

Recently got the tranny rebuilt.
4l60
2500 hughes stall,
5 gear planetaries,
Zpack,
Sonnax shift kit,
Wider 2nd gear band,
Hardened input shaft and new drum.

So I get my transmission back yesterday.
It does good coming home..

Dad and I go off in it after putting the nitto 315 35 17s on it,

at WOT it shifts prematurely into 2nd.
(At like 3000rpm)).
Which is a big problem...
At 3/4 throttle, it shift at about 4k rpm....
and it shifts fine at regular take off speeds

Transmission guy sucks, tells me it's electrical in the computer.

Any ideas??

Now I have other problems on top of that.
The cars battery is fine.
Yesterday when I got home, the car wouldn't crank,
No lights would come on the dash, and it wouldn't even turn over
The fuel pump wasn't even turning on.

I kept playing with the ignition switch and it finally turned over.
as I switched the ignition back to run, the car cuts off...

Today, I sat in the car to move it, and it cranked right up.
I went to move it again,,,,,

Same problem. No dash lights, no fuel pump,
It won't turn over or click,
But the radio turns on.

Battery is three months old. And I didn't have this problem before I dropped it off to the trans guy.

I have no clue where to start to look.
I'm supposed to take it to get the pressure tested from 1st to 2nd tomorrow and the thing is being stupid.

The second problem sounds like the ignition switch.

I changed my ignition switch this morning. And it foxed the electrical problem and it's shifting right now??!!
I guess it was messing with the pcm and the shift points??

If power does not get to the right places at the right time, weird stuff can happen.
