?vacuum? hose for A.I.R pump

?vacuum? hose for A.I.R pump
When I was cleaning out my TB I notcied that a a hose that would look like a vacuum hose that is about 1/2 a foot long that was with a vent connetion by the base of the tube. It was connected to the bottom of the A.I.R pump. where does this line hook up to?
