Using Stock Push Rods And Lifters On Cam Swap?
Is doing this ok? I think i'm going to buy the CC1418-16 MAGNUM SELF-ALIGNING ROLLER TIP 1.6 & CRN-10308-1 Chevrolet: 1992-99 350 LT1 with aluminum cylinder heads, valve spring and retainer kit. I have the CC305 cam. Any suggestion are fine. Thanks

some cars came stock with hardened pushrods. as far as lifters, you're taking a chance at collapsing a worn stock lifter. id take the preventative measures and order both hardened pushrods and at LEAST a new set of stock replacement lifters.

my buddy also has some fuel injectors he said he would give me for free, i think there 36lb would this also help maxumize the cams effectiveness. Also would youo recommend a TB at the sametime

I installed the XE224/230 in early Spring. My car had 83,000 on it and I reuesd the stock lifters and pushrods. Many ( and I mean many ) 6000rpm pulls since install and have had no problems. 32lb inj. are way overkill for what you have. Stock 24# will support up to 400hp I think...please correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

LT1 Forever, I have those same rockers in my garage now that I've up graded while do a H/C swap. If you what them, I'll sell them to you for $130 shipped. They have less than 3k on them.
Take care, Rick
