Re: torque converter by west coast converter

I dont know of that company. But I would not buy one. I would buy a used PI converter before I stuck that converter in my trans. I bought a cheap converter once. In 2weeks that converter cost me 1800. and a trans that never worked in my car agian.

Re: torque converter by west coast converter

I DO know that company. They build the converters for Edge Racing, http://www.edgeracingconverters.com

I went from a 3600 5-disk Vig, to a 4000 stall 2.65 STR "Street Edge"....and am now MUCH happier. There are a TON of Impala guys now running this converter, and a few on this board as well.

Talk with Andre at Edge Racing. He's the man.

Hmmm.. didn't know that! I contacted Andre and had a 3000 stall built for my LE2 combo a couple of months ago. Not installed yet as I'm waiting on my 355, but it's good to hear some positive feedback on these guys!

Re: torque converter by west coast converter

Look at my sig. I LOVE MINE!!!!!!!! They are very good to deal with too(people there). It is almost a 10" converter if you're wondering. It took a little over 10 quarts to fill my tranny back up after install. I had about a million retarded questions to ask him about the torque converter and he anwsered all of them for me. I'll quit rambling on now. Anymore questions ask and I'll try to anwser them.
