temperature gauge, need help

I am new to this site, so please forgive if i have posted in the wrong section. Anyways, i have a 93 z28 with 72k miles. I bought it with warped heads and a bad gaskets. A friend and myself rebuilt everything to get the car running again, we noticed the temp gauge likes to hang out between half and 3 quarters, sometimes even at 3 quarters and doesnt move. It comes close to overheating but not quite. The radiator is not clogged, the pump is new along with all the sensors and thermostat. There are no leaks at all and no bags or leaves blocking the radiator flow. The fans work great, even new motors. Is this normal for the lt1's? Or am i missing somthing?

Re: temperature gauge, need help

Depends on whether you are driving, sitting still, etc. as to what temps you might see.

Cooling system info
