Squealing noise. Alternator going out?
Alright guys, the first 5 minutes my car is running I have a loud squealing noise. Sounds like a bad bearing or something. Today I took it out, and it was squealing louder and longer than usual, and the battery voltage was pretty low and my turn signal was blinking slowly. I also have a miss at idle and when I hold it at 1000-1200 RPM's, but that could be anything. I just changed the plugs 3 days ago and no wires are burnt.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Well the belt isn't slipping, just a squealing noise. The tensioner is a year old, and I'm not sure what brand it is. My uncle changed the belt, tensioner, and the crank pulley when my crank pulley split in 2 up in NY on vacation last year. The replacement tensioner has a plastic pulley and definitely doesn't look as sturdy as the stocker, but what would explain my battery voltage dropping?

Ok, I used a stethascope, and I can't hear any loud squealing coming from the alternator, tensioner, or the AC compressor. What do I do now? Would a cheap belt cause squealing when cold? I guess I'll go pick up a new Goodyear Gatorback and a new tensioner....
