Re: Scanned the Car....

OK, only code that really says anything is the code 18. Someone said injector issues may throw this code? Could be possible I have a dead injector..or that I screwed up when I put the injector wires back on? anyone know the order from front to back..left and right sides? I think they were odd/even numbers and I just went in order. 1357/2468 (unless im on crack). Thanks!

Re: Scanned the Car....

This is what I got after scanning today
29 - EAS Electrical Fault (QDM)
18 - Cranksignal open or no Signal.

Since I dont have a crank sensor I posted on ls1tech, here and on CZ28. No one replied so I searched for a few hours. The only thing I found was one guy who claimed he fixed a code 18 with a new injector. I decided to check my injectors to see if I had any of them mixed up and as I tugged on the harness in the dark I felt one move. It wasnt on the injector!!! DOH! I pushed them on and clipped them..but I didnt tug them to ensure they were on all the way. I found #5 and #6 unplugged.... The car seems to be running ..well..INCREDIBLE.. and the SES light didnt return (I didnt have much time to test it out....) I think I found my issue... If I didnt ... it was a huge problem anyways.

That is one of the funniest things Ive read on here in a long time! Without a scanner youd be running with 2 dead cylindars for who knows how long.

Re: Scanned the Car....

Trust me I feel pretty dumb.. I didnt drive it much (engine transplate finished up about 2 weeks ago...) Just figured it might help someone else later on.

They were sitting on the injectors.. just not latched...so sometimes I would pull really hard...others it wouldnt..hard to explain..but hopefully that was the problem.
