relay help

On my 1995 Z28 there is a relay Bocsh part#12034544, it is located under the driver side dash. It is wrapped in eletrical tape. What is it for?

Where exactly? Does it look like it has factory wiring to it? Or maybe it was added by a previous owner.

It is not mounted. No socket or plug, 4 flat crimp terminals, only 3 connected. The previous owner had a cd changer mounted on the trunk, and there is a switch for it, maybe thats what its for? I checked on shbox. Com did not ser anything

Not likely factory, then. Impossible to say without tracing wires.
