Me too, I want drive my car but she won't start at all now, use to but idled rough now jus cranks over and back fires

if so you need to back down your HP expectations....unless you have a "buddy" shop using a donor car for testing

starting with a "bone stock" car and wanting to build a 500 HP motor, IMHO, is not the place to start. Your suspension & rear end would be a good place to start and move forward to your engine. You will need more than the stock organic clutch also

If you want "more power" first than a head and cam package from someone like Lloyd Elliott, larger injectors (Ford SVO 30#), headers and a good PCM tune will easily get you 350 RWHP and your back half of the car will at least tolerate that....to a point
