Phab headers??

Phab headers??
I just recently purchased these long tube headers off eBay. Was wondering if anybody has had any experience with these? I decided to give it a go. $248 buck. It says good quality stainless and looked good from the pics. I will share my results and see how it goes. Link to headers below.

Re: Phab headers??
I am not going to use them, I'll just stick with my MAC's. To make them work they would need to be completetly re-flanged and the #1 primary cut and moved back. Also 2 of the bolt holes where into the ports, creating one big opening that would never seal. No 2 bolt holes on either header matched up with the gasket.

Re: Phab headers??
I would have a fit if these are that far off. I can deal with a little snug installing or even a little mod. Maybe you had the luck of the draw or maybe they produced thousands of flanges like that and I'm about to be disappointed. We will see...

Re: Phab headers??
Fred I guess I jumped the gun on that. I got a set of heads that had been redone completely only problem was there was two manifold bolt holes on the end was stripped and drilled. Looked like they prepped it to put epoxy and threads back in it? So my original idea was to try to drill out the manifold where the header bolt holes were located...well that didn't go as planned so I jumped on these cheap headers without research first(time and money issues). I paid 1200 for the car and put around 2k in it so far. Maybe I would have been better off just buying a z with out the issues? 3200 still ain't bad considering the mods its already got.

Re: Phab headers??
The pipes are 1 3/4 and the flange is 3/8 thick. The flange matches up to the gasket so far. I have not matched them up to the heads yet. This is going to be a head off install so it should be easy.
