Maybe seal the grommet by applying RTV to both edges.
Just a thought - why would coolant be leaking at the top of the container? Overfilled? Shouldn't be possible.
V8 and V6 overflow/battery trays are identical... no need to limit your search to V8's.

I may try the RTV bc its not leaking more like a small pool of ANTIFREEZE sitting in the hole on top of grommet where the tube inserts if you get what im saying ?

no its the grommet I changed the hose and rubbed a little lucus trans slip on it and it has worked to the point there no air in my system any longer but it just has a little
water on top
