Also makes a strong case for doing your own scan. Free software available (Scan9495, or TTS DataMaster), you buy the cable, for about 1/3 of what the dealer charged you. And you have way more visibility of the engine's operating conditions, sensor responses, calculated parameters, etc. This is where do-it-yourself can save you big $$$$$.
