oil pressure sender

I am changing the location of my oil pressure sender from behind the block to above the oil filter. I have to block off the hole that is at the rear top off the block behind the intake. Does anyone know what size this hole is. I don't want to end up stripping a thread hole. thanks

Re: oil pressure sender

Note that Shoebox shows different part numbers for the sensor located on top of the block (late 94-97) compared to the one located above the oil filter (93-early 94). His photo of the port above the oil filter indicates it is 1/4" NPT. Not sure if the sensor above the oil filter requires the two angle fittings used on the top of the block.

Re: oil pressure sender

The port on top of the block should be 1/8". The one on the side 1/4".
