silicone hose for EGR?

silicone hose for EGR?

Is there such a hose made of some type of rubber or silicone that could handle the heat of and EGR system? would have to be small diameter such as 1" or so.

The typical upper limit for high temp silicone hose is 500*F. Exhaust gas can easilly reach 1,000*F.

Why silicone? What's wrong with the stock corrugated metallic tube? If you are concerned about heat affecting the intake manifold rear RTV seal, put some insulation on the tube.
