Oil Analysis results from German Castrol 0w30
I got back my oil analysis results from my first interval with German made Castrol Syntec 0w30 and this stuff did great! I highly recommend this oil! It's given me my lowest wear numbers so far, and it held it's viscosity perfectly! I sent in a new sample first, and it's viscosity was 12.2cst at 100c, and the used sample came out the same! This puts it at a very thick 30wt oil, almost 40wt. Mobil 1 5w30 and 10w30 are only 10cst at 100c.
Here is the link with more info on the results:

Where are you located? This oil is worldwide, in Europe and Australia (and Asia too I believe) it's known as Formula SLX. In North America it's Syntec 0w30.
In Canada it's sold at Walmart and some Canadian Tire stores, in the US it's at Autozone. Just look for Castrol Syntec 0w30 with the new style labels (0w30 is in red) and turn to the back to make sure it says made in Germany (the made in US stuff is totally different and nowhere near the same)
This is the only full synthetic Castrol Syntec offered here, the others use a group 3 base oil.
